Hi! I am Muhammad Saad, an Experienced Reservoir & Petroleum Engineer, researcher, and freelance writer. I have completed my bachelors in Petroleum and Gas Engineering with distinction from UET Lahore in 2017. After graduation, I joined OMV (Pakistan) as Trainee Reservoir/Petroleum Engineer where I gained hands-on experience on different reservoir simulators (Petral, Eclipse), carried out routine production management on OFM, reserves estimation using Material Balance and Decline curve analysis on excel, MBAL, OFM, and Eclipse. Along with that, I was responsible for well test design on HPHT gas wells and interpretation of well test analysis using KAPPA Saphire and Fekete. In June 2018, I joined Mari Petroleum Company Limited as a Reservoir/Petroleum Engineer where I was responsible for forecasting the production, designing of drill stem testing, reservoir injectivity test, pressure transient testing (build-up and drawdown), interference testing, and reservoir step rate and their analysis using KAPPA Saphire and Fekete. I was also responsible for reservoir performance management, calculation of reserves estimation (DCA and Material Balance), etc. In Jan 2020, I have joined OGDCL as a reservoir / petroleum engineer. I am an expert reservoir / petroleum engineer with a specialization in well test designing and interpretation who can do his tasks efficiently with sound technical knowledge of reservoir / petroleum engineering concepts coupled with great soft skills who have command over different reservoir / petroleum engineering software.
