Hi, I am Sardar Aqib Mahmood. I am passionate about helping students become confident and independent problem solvers by first making sure they have a strong understanding of the fundamentals. I have more than 12 years of teaching and tutoring experience and hold a master’s degree in Mathematics. My approach to teaching is simple: I want students to learn how to think through a problem rather than just memorize a set of steps. During lessons, I give students enough time to work through problems on their own and encourage them when they are making progress. When they get stuck, I usually start with a small hint rather than immediately giving them the solution. If they need more help, I step in and work through the problem with them so they can understand what they were missing and how to approach it next time. My goal is not just to help students solve the problem in front of them. I want them to reach a point where, when they see a similar problem again, they feel confident enough to try it themselves. Over the years, I have worked with students at different levels, from those who need help strengthening their mathematical foundations to students taking advanced high school and university-level mathematics courses.
