I love wrangling data and I love making maps! With professional research experience and graduate-level training in quantitative methods, I can provide efficient and meticulous cleaning/coding of datasets, survey management, statistical programming and GIS mapping. My passion for research has been demonstrated as a Senior Policy Analyst at a public policy research institute, during prior Research Assistant positions, and through my master's degree coursework at Rutgers' Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy (4.0 GPA). I have also recently completed a GIS Certificate from Hunter College. I have more than five years of experience collecting, preparing and analyzing data ranging from customer surveys to utility bills to census data. I am fluent with spreadsheet programs (Excel, Google Sheets) and experienced with other tools for quantitative research including databases (Access), statistical analysis software (Stata) and cartography/geospatial analysis software (ArcGIS, QGIS). I have experience with object-oriented programming for geographic applications (Python, PostGIS).
