Thomas O.

Do you remember that scene in Pulp Fiction when Jules and Vincent are in a car covered in blood with a dead body in the backset, absolutely freaking out, and they have to call Mr. Wolf? He steps in, gets to the job site in record time, takes control of the situation and cleans up the mess that nobody else had any idea how to deal with. Well on Upwork, I am that guy. Except instead of cleaning up crime scenes, I help companies navigate high-stakes, complex technical challenges across the modern web. Why clients choose to work with me: - 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: I excel in ambiguous, complex situations. Hand me a messy problem, and I’ll return with an intuitive, production-ready solution. - 𝗡𝗼 "𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵-𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸": As an intuitive logician, I value clarity and precision. I use short video walkthroughs to summarize bugs, progress, and outline technical choices so you can understand situations and make decisions fast. - 𝗔𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰: I am cloud and framework agnostic. Having shipped production code in at least four distinct programming languages, worked in both AWS and GCloud, I adapt quickly to new stacks as I have a solid background in the fundamentals of web engineering. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗜'𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Stripe, TripleWhale, Blotout, Netlify, Tailwind, TypeScript, Astro, React, GTAG, AppSheet, NVIM Above all, I’m a problem solver who thinks in systems. Languages and frameworks are just tools, and tools can be figured out quickly. What matters most is having the engineering intuition to step into a complex, ambiguous situation and design a clean, logical solution that aligns with business goals. Drop me a line, and let’s see if I'm a good fit.
