Mariya S.

Hi, I’m Maria! I’m a children’s book illustrator, and I’ve worked on 40+ published books on Amazon so far. My favorite part of illustrating is funny expressions, cozy rooms, tiny background details, and characters that actually feel like they have personalities. I draw everything by hand in Procreate, with a soft, warm and playful feel. I also know how overwhelming the technical side of publishing can get, so I can take care of layout, cover design, and print-ready files for KDP or IngramSpark as well. I like keeping the process pretty simple: we figure out the characters and overall feeling first, sketch everything out, make changes while they’re still easy to make, and then move into color. You’ll always know where the book is at, and there’s plenty of room to figure things out together along the way.
