Michaela K.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with an engineering background, working across visual design, technical illustration, product development, CAD, scientific communication, concept design, and digital creative work. My work tends to sit between design and technical problem-solving. I’m comfortable taking on projects that involve complex information, physical products, engineering constraints, visual systems, manufacturing considerations, or unusual creative challenges. Depending on the project, I can help with: • Graphic and visual design • Technical and scientific illustration • Product and concept design • CAD and engineering-focused visualisation • Packaging and print design • Vector artwork and custom graphics • Diagrams, infographics, and technical communication • Presentation and research visuals • Creative concept development • Prototyping and design-for-manufacture thinking • AI-assisted design workflows and visual exploration I’m particularly useful on projects that need both visual judgement and technical understanding. My engineering background means I’m comfortable with detailed specifications, research-heavy briefs, dimensional constraints, technical terminology, manufacturing considerations, and projects where accuracy matters just as much as appearance. At the same time, I enjoy highly creative work and often explore multiple directions before refining the strongest concept into a polished final result. If your project sits somewhere between design, engineering, visual communication, product development, or experimentation, that is usually where I do my best work.
