Strategic Business Architect | Operations, CRM, Automation & Launches
Fix it before it breaks, then add the AI. If it already broke, I’ll fix that first and build the system so it doesn’t happen twice. What you get: fewer dropped balls, follow-ups that actually happen, and a foundation that holds up as you grow. Hi, I’m Alyssa, but everyone calls me AJ. I’m a Strategic Business Architect, and I specialize in experience operations: what happens inside a business shapes how your clients feel and how your team feels, so I build operations both can feel. For more than 8 years I’ve built the tools, workflows and handoffs that decide whether a team feels organized or overwhelmed. Recent work includes a launch process that, by my estimate, cut about 25% of the time. Before I build anything, I work out the logic: what’s supposed to happen, in what order, and who owns each step. Then the tools, automation and AI follow that. Logic first, AI second, because AI on top of a messy process only gives you a faster mess. I work in three steps: Diagnose what’s really happening, Build what’s missing, and Run it with you until your team owns it. WHAT CLIENTS HIRE ME FOR - AI integration where it actually fits into your workflows - CRM and automation - Launch operations - Training and SOPs - Project coordination - Events and experiences WHAT THAT HAS LOOKED LIKE - Built the operating system for my own consultancy from scratch: sales and delivery pipelines in Go High Level, a ClickUp workspace, service templates and client intake. - Designed the structure behind a launch playbook of roughly 260 tasks, plus guides for metrics, funnel pages and email and SMS sequences. - Led an email deliverability overhaul for a client, moving sending to a dedicated domain. - Built a continuation program for program graduates, including pricing tiers, coach pay structure and a full email and SMS sequence. - Built the training that brings new coaches onto a program. By my estimate, they got up to speed about 40% faster, and the operations team stopped training each one. - Built an internal assistant with Claude, connected to a CRM, project software, Notion and a Drive of SOPs. By my estimate, it cut team back-and-forth by about half and launch time by about 25%. - Set up a CRM for a pet care business, so almost every new client now comes through it. - Ran operations and technology for a nonprofit, including a 150-person awards night and a 400+ person event. HOW I WORK I explain what I’m doing in plain language, ask how much contact you want, and teach only as much as you’d like. Everything I build is written down, so your team can keep it running without me. I keep my client list small so everyone gets real attention. Best fit: owners who want the underlying system fixed, not just the symptom. A GOOD WAY TO START A small first project is a good way to see whether we work well together: one process that’s causing trouble, a CRM that needs cleaning up, or the first step of bringing AI into your workflow. Send me a message about what’s stuck, and I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right fit.
