John S.

I am an English professor at a large, well-known university. I have written five books and over seventy articles for popular and professional audiences. My work has extended to virtually every genre from popular and scholarly books and articles to creative narratives and mass media articles. I have written scores of statements of purpose, personal statements, and a wide variety of essays for business and professional organizations. I assure you well-written, error-free, informative, and engaging documents. I was the Chair of the SAT English Writing Committee for 10 years; Co-Chair of the AP Exam; and Chair of the College Board National English Advisory Committee. I have performed editing and proofreading activities for my entire academic career. I can bring enthusiasm, skill, and expertise to your project. I work efficiently and can generally return work within 24-48 hours. I generally have a 100% customer satisfaction rating on Upwork. I am also well-versed in business. I was the COO of a health care measurement and marketing firm with 200 employees. One of my books was chosen as a business book-of-the-month club selection. I can bring to any writing project vast experience and expertise. Powerful writing involves audience analysis, designing a strategy, creating the appropriate voice, clarity, cogency, and precision. Additionally, powerful writing should move its audience, excite them, create vivid pictures and compelling ideas in their minds, and delight them.
