Maria Jose A.

Hi, I’m MariaJose, a Licensed Psychologist with 10+ years of experience specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma, anxiety, and behavior change. I help individuals and organizations create sustainable mental health and lifestyle improvements—not just short-term results. My work focuses on emotional regulation, habit formation, stress management, and the behavioral side of health, including sleep, nutrition, and emotional eating. I hold dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with additional specialization in trauma and emerging, evidence-based approaches. I have designed and led mental health programs across Mexico, Uganda, and the United States, working with diverse populations in both clinical and real-world settings. Currently, I work as a Behavioral Health Specialist within a multidisciplinary health program, collaborating with physicians, dietitians, and fitness professionals to support patients in long-term, sustainable change. How I can help: CBT-based coaching and mental health support Emotional eating, habit change, and lifestyle transformation Anxiety, burnout, and stress management Behavioral health consulting for wellness programs Group facilitation and psychoeducational content Program and curriculum development I work with clients worldwide in both English and Spanish and am known for being warm, structured, and highly reliable.
