Jacqui W.

I'm an experienced video producer/editor based in Chicago seeking freelance projects. I've created successful TV shows, commercials, and digital media over various platforms from inception to the final touches in post-production, plus I'm extremely energetic and fun to work with! You can view samples of my work at my website listed below in the portfolio section. I've been in the video production industry for over 15 years. I spent over 7 years in Chicago producing and editing TV programming for PBS-WTTW. There, I produced and edited the TV show "Check, Please!" which, with over 100,000 viewers weekly, was one of the top dining/food influencers in Chicago. I also produced and edited a talk show called "My Chicago" where we conducted "interviews-on-wheels" in a car traveling through the streets of Chicago. In addition to my experience working for PBS in Chicago, I freelanced on a number of different projects where I created digital content and commercials for a wide variety of corporate clients, often for same-day delivery. In 2017, I followed my passion to NYC, where I became the video specialist for Tribune Publishing's food website, The Daily Meal. At The Daily Meal, my focus was capturing the dynamic food scene in New York through the eye of my camera lens, while also educating viewers with unique recipe videos, visually dazzling dishes, and tasty information that every home cook will appreciate. I solely produced, shot, and edited 300+ videos. My fiance and I returned to Chicago in the spring of 2022 to continue our work as freelancing partners and be closer to family. I have a fairly flexible schedule, which allows me to do plenty of creative editing and occasional filming. With my passion for video storytelling, and my experience working on a plethora of different types of projects, I'd be thrilled to help with any of your video needs.
