✔ Native French ✔ Responsive ✔ Focused on your needs ✔ Meticulous "It is the task of the translator to release in his own language that pure language that is under the spell of another, to liberate the language imprisoned in a work in his re-creation of that work." - Walter Benjamin - Creative French translator fluent in English and Spanish, I have almost 10 years of professional experience in localization, transcreation, and proofreading. High standards is my number one priority and if you take a deeper look at my profile and reviews, you'll realize I always offer my services based on great communication and in a timely manner. Websites - Apps - Manuals - Surveys ...and a lot more besides... Short biography Born and raised in France by a mother having dual nationality (Spanish and French), I was lucky to live with both languages during my childhood. I also learned English during several years of education until I graduated from university in business administration, but it's mostly my adventurous and curious side that helped me improve and master these languages while traveling to Canada, the United States, Argentina, Mexico, New Zealand. In love with Canada, I decided to stay and live there for almost 3 years from 2016 to 2019. I then decided to come back to Europe and lived in Spain from 2020 to 2022. I am now spending my winters in Switzerland where I teach skiing and snoboarding and the rest of the year in the south of France where I am mainly focusing on touristic and traveling projects. The eternal curiosity living inside me also brought me to web development, and at this point, I realized that localizing online content was meant for me so I took the opportunity to start as a freelancer being confident in my writing skills. I then got involved in Search Engine Optimization, which is a useful palette when you need your website, app, or products to be well-ranked from the very moment you enter the French market. Happy to talk about your linguistic projects Sébastien M
