I solve mechanical design problems for manufacturers developing industrial equipment, machinery, and engineered products. My role is to determine how the system should work, evaluate design options, perform calculations, identify risks, and carry the selected solution through verification and production release. I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with 8+ years of experience and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. SolidWorks is my primary design and simulation environment, but the value I provide is engineering judgment: defining requirements, selecting materials and components, analyzing loads and failure modes, improving manufacturability, and resolving the details that determine whether a design will work reliably in practice. I also review designs developed by others, identify technical weaknesses, and recommend practical corrections or simplifications. My experience includes industrial and wastewater equipment, thermal systems, packaging machinery, plastic extrusion, aerospace-related projects, life-sciences equipment, and custom product development.
