Rana J.

I’m a full-stack engineer who builds the whole product, from the React frontend to the Rust or Go backend behind it. I also write APIs, backend services, and command-line tools, and I like building things that run fast and are easy to maintain. For the last few years I’ve been working a lot with Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and KV. Before that I worked at Züs (0Chain, a dStorage blockchain company), where I led a frontend team of 30+ people. What I can help with: - Full web apps in React and Next.js with TypeScript, backed by a Rust, Go, or Node.js API - Frontends for an existing backend: dashboards, portals, and customer-facing sites - Adding AI features to an existing product (LLM gateways, chat backends, OpenAI-compatible APIs) - Moving slow Node or Python code to Rust or Go - CLI tools and build scripts - Backends on Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and KV Some things I’ve built: RICO, a Rust CLI that converts images in bulk and removes plain backgrounds. It runs in CI for a production site and handles thousands of images. It works best on solid backgrounds like white, not busy scenes. WaiChat, an open-source AI chat app that runs fully on Cloudflare Workers, D1, and Workers AI. How I work: I write up a short plan first, then build in milestones and send updates as I go. You get the full source, with tests and notes on how to run it. If you’re not sure which stack is right for your project, send me what you’re building and I’ll tell you what I’d pick and why.
