B2B Audio Post-Production | Podcast, VO & Audiobook Dialogue Cleanup
I make dialogue sound like it was recorded in the right room - every time. Top Rated Plus | 100% Job Success | 153 contracts | 8,500+ hours | 5 years running audio for a single B2B podcast slate I'm an audio post-production specialist for spoken-word content. If your recordings are noisy, inconsistent, or just "not quite there," I turn them into polished, intelligible, on-brand audio that's easy to listen to and ready to ship. WHAT I DO 1) Podcast & interview post-production Multi-speaker remote and in-person recordings (Zoom, Riverside, Descript, field). Edit for flow and pacing, dialogue cleanup, music beds, branded intros/outros, loudness-compliant masters. I'm currently Head of Audio Production for a B2B media company - 5,900+ hours on that one relationship - so multi-show consistency at volume is my normal week. 2) Voice-over, narration & audiobook VO cleanup and mastering, e-learning and course narration, meditation and guided-audio work, audiobook editing and ACX-compliant delivery. Breath and mouth-noise removal, de-essing, level matching across sessions and narrators. I also produce complete AI-narrated audiobooks for independent authors using ElevenLabs: voice casting, chapter-by-chapter generation, a full proof-listen against the manuscript, correction of misreads and pacing, and ACX-style mastered delivery - from $99 per finished hour. Hear two published-quality samples (Doyle, Twain) in my portfolio. 3) Restoration & dialogue rescue iZotope RX spectral repair, de-noise, de-reverb, hum and click removal, salvaging a bad lav or a dead boom, matching mismatched mics inside one conversation. This is what clients most often bring me after someone else has already tried. Increasingly that also means AI-generated material - Suno and Udio tracks, ElevenLabs and other synthetic voice output - where the job is fixing smeared transients, phase and stereo problems, and digital artefacts, then rebuilding and mastering the result so it holds up commercially. 4) Vocal editing & production Comping and timing across takes, tuning and pitch passes, breath and sibilance control, aligning and stacking doubles and harmonies, then mixing and mastering the lead so it sits properly in the track. Also rescue work on vocals tracked in untreated rooms. 5) Audio data & language QA Script segmentation, utterance splitting, batch preparation and renaming for speech and voice-model pipelines. I came to audio from thirteen years in systems administration and database work, so large messy datasets and strict naming conventions are familiar ground - I script and batch the repetitive parts instead of clicking through ten thousand files one at a time, and what comes back matches the manifest spec you asked for. Arabic and French audio review, dubbing QA and localisation checks - native/bilingual English and Arabic, working French, which helps with regional names, terminology and pronunciation calls. STANDARDS & DELIVERY - Podcast/streaming: -16 LUFS stereo, -19 LUFS mono, no higher than -1 dBTP true peak - Audiobook: ACX-compliant RMS, peak and noise-floor targets - Deliverables: WAV/MP3 mastered to spec, stems, ID3 tags, transcripts/timecodes, show-ready exports - Toolchain: iZotope RX, REAPER, Logic Pro, Descript, Accentize, FabFilter, UAD, Slate Digital / SSL HOW I WORK You send raw files and references, I clean, edit, mix and master, one revision round, then final delivery with assets. I build templates, presets and QA checklists so quality holds across every episode, host and narrator rather than just the flagship. I'll advise on mic technique and recording setup so the next batch arrives cleaner than the last, and I'll tell you plainly when something can't be fixed and what to re-record instead of quietly shipping something weak. Also available for REAPER consulting - session templates, routing, render and interface troubleshooting, and one-to-one training for teams bringing work in-house. The IT background is usually why these sessions end with the actual problem fixed rather than worked around. Retainers and standing weekly or biweekly volume are how I prefer to work, and where I do my best work. If you need dialogue that sounds expensive - even when the recording wasn't - I'll get you there reliably and on schedule.
