Most messages I get here start one of two ways. “We need a full-stack developer to build our SaaS from scratch.” Or: “Someone built this for us in Next.js and Supabase, and now it’s breaking, and nobody can tell us why.” I do both. I build SaaS products in Next.js, React, and Supabase, and I put AI inside them in a way that still works six months later, when real users and real API bills show up. 2,000+ hours on Upwork. Five months later 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗜 is live: seven role levels from President down to Canvasser, each seeing only their own data, an AI coach that role-plays sales calls out loud, and an AI that reads uploaded pay sheets and turns them into commission plans. Stripe billing, PWA, push notifications. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢 𝘚𝘢𝘢𝘚 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩. ▸ A social and marketplace app arrived on a no-code builder’s rented database. I moved everything- schema, storage, 25 edge functions- to the client’s own Supabase, locked down row-level security, added Stripe membership tiers and server-side age checks, and the product kept running the whole time. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦. ▸ 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗨𝗽 was already a working content platform. I added AI generation across OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini, a brand voice engine, agency workspaces with a client approval portal, and eight languages with right-to-left support. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘐 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴. ▸ 𝗖𝗮𝗮𝗸𝘂𝘀: random video chat with virtual gifts, an in-app coin, Stripe Connect payouts, and 11 languages, shipped in three months. ▸ 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿 is my own product. It tracks how a brand shows up inside ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini, and catches AI crawlers hitting your site through Cloudflare Workers. I mention it because paying your own OpenAI bill every month teaches you things about AI cost and reliability that client work alone doesn’t. 𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝗲. I’ll tell you when something is a bad idea before you pay for it. I send working software every few days, not a status update. You own the repo from day one.
