Most of my day is spent as the person product, engineering, innovations, and People call before something ships or something breaks. I translate the legal piece into plain advice, build the playbooks so the same question does not get asked twice, and bring in outside counsel only when a dispute actually needs it. I also sit with leadership on technology and AI, including how the tools get rolled out and where the risk actually is. I spent about ten years running a software company before I went to law school, so I am comfortable in a fast environment and I do not need a lot of hand-holding. I am admitted in Utah, I have spoken on technology and AI at legal conferences, and I am easy to work with if you want counsel who will move with the business instead of slowing it down.
