Colin has been working with, and pretty much obsessed by(!), Excel for almost 30 years, with the majority of the models involving VBA. Most recent focus, though, has been on DAF (Dynamic Array Formulas), which dramatically changes Excel development. Excellent analytical skills with an in-depth knowledge of GL systems, financial reporting applications, and surrounding processes (including FP&A). Have often developed applications in which users are provided the capability to access enterprise data using their familiar Excel user interface (filtered lists, pivot tables, drill-down capability, etc.). This will generally involve creating dynamic SQL queries to retrieve the required data. Also proficient in Power Query and Power Pivot.
