My name is Harisa, and I hold a degree in English Language and Literature. Over the years, I've built my career around language through translation, localization, proofreading, transcription, and, more recently, AI training and language data projects. I have extensive experience translating between English and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian (BCS), covering a wide range of subjects, including legal and medical documentation, engineering and technical documentation, scientific papers, PLC/SCADA systems, robotics, EU-funded projects, public administration, education, democratic institutions, and many others. Since 2018, I've also worked on AI training and language data projects involving text annotation, data labeling, response evaluation, grammar and semantic assessment, transcription review, quality assurance, and other guideline-based language tasks. One thing I genuinely enjoy is working with detailed annotation guidelines. I like understanding not only "what" a decision should be, but "why". I'm the kind of person who likes to understand the reasoning behind a guideline rather than simply follow it. That helps me make more consistent decisions, especially when dealing with edge cases or ambiguous examples. For me, producing high-quality data isn't just about completing a task, it's about contributing to better outcomes, to be honest. :) While most of my AI experience has been language-focused, I'm always interested in expanding my skills, learning new annotation tools and workflows, and taking on new types of projects as the field continues to evolve.
