I help startups and small-to-medium businesses plan, build, and ship custom software — from the first requirements conversation through production deployment and beyond. I'm especially good at walking into a business, understanding how it actually operates, and building the system that fixes what's really slowing it down, not just what's in the spec. Since 2016 I've specialized in Node.js applications, mainly on a MEVN stack (MongoDB, Express, Vue, Node) with Nuxt on the frontend and MoleculerJS microservices on the backend. I'm comfortable across the entire stack and the entire delivery process, from architecture through deployment. One of my proudest track records: a JavaScript UI I built for a Fortune 500 medical device company's diabetes pump support team ran in daily production for 8 years before being retired last year for a full SAP integration. I build things that last, not things that need to be rebuilt in 18 months. I started programming at 12 with a "Learn C++ in 21 Days" book, and spent the next 16 years building things as a hobbyist before turning it into a career in 2016 — starting as a web developer and moving to Senior Engineer within two years as the work spoke for itself. That early, obsessive foundation is a big part of why I can move quickly and confidently across almost any language, framework, or problem you put in front of me. I'm available for both project-based work and ongoing retainer arrangements — if you need someone to own your architecture and reliability long-term rather than just complete a single build, that's work I want.
