I design curriculum and instructional materials for technology and education companies. I currently write exercise-design guidance for the Microsoft Learning Zone platform, and I have produced physics and mathematics content for Pearson for more than three years. What makes my work different is subject depth. I hold two doctorates and a Master of Science in Physics, alongside a Bachelor of Education specializing in the Teaching of Physics and Mathematics, which is a qualification in pedagogy rather than in subject knowledge alone. I have written authoring guidance defining how assessment items should be constructed and evaluated, for use by human writers and by automated tooling. STEM content and technical writing. Physics, mathematics, engineering and science content from primary through university level, including IGCSE, A Level and AP Physics. Also technical articles, research writing and SEO content written to a keyword brief. I work fluently with AI tools where they help, and I verify every factual claim against primary sources rather than trusting an output because it sounded confident. Clients who want AI-assisted speed get it. Clients who want everything written and checked by a person get that too. Scientific and mathematical illustration. Physics and mathematics figures, diagrams, graphs and technical illustrations, produced for Pearson over more than three years. Because I hold a doctorate in the subject, I can tell when a diagram is physically wrong, which matters in educational material where an incorrect figure quietly teaches an incorrect idea. Academic editing and research support. Editing and language work on research manuscripts for an academic editing company, and three years as a writing tutor with Pioneer Academics guiding students through independent research projects. I have seventeen peer-reviewed publications of my own and have reviewed for journals including Optics Express, Energy, Physica Scripta, and Scientific Reports, so I edit from inside the process rather than from outside it. I am available full-time, and I prefer longer engagements where I can learn a house style properly rather than one-off tasks.
