I am a Filipino with mastery of both Filipino (Tagalog) and English languages. Studying from the top universities in the Philippines made me well-versed in communicating using both languages. Formerly a Philippine History lecturer, I am now employed in a Philippine national government agency, in which we use English or Filipino (Tagalog) in oral or written communication. In addition, I am a native speaker of Kapampangan (a dominant Filipino language in Central Luzon region of our country). I have been offering English-Filipino and English - Kapampangan (and vice versa) translation services for 7 years already, which I started through Fiverr, an older online platform for freelancing services. What makes my translation service better than others is that I manually translate words from one language to another to communicate the idea well. I can decide whether it is better to retain the word from the original text to provide its real message and I am happy to explain to my clients why it should be done. As an interpreter, I stay neutral and truthful to ensure that the real message is conveyed to other party, especially since my usual clients require my services for mediation meetings and vocational interviews.
