I use automation platforms where they fit, and build custom services when a workflow needs more control over processing, background jobs, or integrations. 🔧 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱: • Business automations connecting CRMs, finance tools, document platforms, and internal systems • AI assistants and RAG workflows using OpenAI, Claude, embeddings, and Supabase • Voice AI agents with staff lookup, availability checks, and call-routing logic • Custom Python APIs and background processing services • Error handling, response validation, duplicate prevention, logging, and retries for existing workflows 📂 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀: • AI voice receptionist: Connected Retell AI, RingCentral, and Timetastic to look up staff and check availability before routing calls. Added validation to catch an API returning a success status with an error inside its response. • API documentation scraper and OpenAPI generator: Built a Python system using FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery workers, and Playwright through MCP to discover documentation, process pages with AI, and generate OpenAPI specifications. • HR time-off integration: Connected PeopleHR and Replicon, with record tracking to prevent duplicate processing and logs for troubleshooting. • RAG chatbot: Used OpenAI embeddings and Supabase vector storage to retrieve relevant information for chatbot responses. ⚙️ 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵: n8n, Zapier, Python, JavaScript, FastAPI, Django, REST APIs, GraphQL, OAuth, webhooks, OpenAI, Claude, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, Docker, Playwright, Selenium, and AWS Lambda.
