I have published more than 20 biomedical research articles. I was heavily involved in the writing and editing of these articles (and also in the writing of many other research reports). While living and working in Japan, I was employed as an English Editor in a patent translation service. Moreover, I was frequently the final stop in the editing process for several researchers in the research institutes in Japan where I was employed. As a teaching assistant in the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Queensland, I was responsible for marking and providing feedback on hundreds of student assignments. In 2016, I was employed as a Freelance Editor in the Medical Sciences. More recently, I have been employed as a Contractual Editor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences. During my work as an editor, I edited and rewrote hundreds of research articles relating to the biomedical sciences. Finally, I have been involved in writing several successful research grants in Ireland and Australia (and revising other grants in the US and elsewhere).
