Mareike K.
Native German Writer, Proofreader and Translator
I did my bachelor's degree in German language and literature and just finished my master's degree in German language and literature at the University of Cologne. In the past I did the PR for my sports club for 2 years, did an internship at a daily newspaper (BILD Stuttgart) and worked in customer service for MyLittleBox. I often proofread the texts of my father, who heads the PR department of a Stuttgart hospital, or proofread the term papers or theses of my friends or fellow students and have been allowed to proofread a few through the freelancer.com site. I have also done translations and transcreations from English into German or vice versa via this platform. I attach great importance to an appropriate expression and choice of words. I avoid word repetitions and pay attention to correct punctuation.
