My name is Gabriella Wakeman, and since joining Upwork in late 2022/early 2023, I have had the opportunity to coordinate on more than 50 short-term and long-term projects involving written content. As a dedicated, experienced, and full-time freelancer, I provide my Upwork clients with high-quality final products in three areas: proofreading/editing, writing/ghostwriting, and transcribing/meeting summaries. Prior to Upwork, I worked for several organizations where I composed transcripts for webinars, drafted social media content, compiled a corporate sponsors’ media report, and conducted academic research. With each project, I strive to produce impactful and accurate material tailored for any audience and any platform or software. My experience includes working on content that has already been SEO-assessed/edited and editing material with an SEO-focused approach. My clients have commented that I suggest ideas and changes that they hadn’t yet considered, including gauging how font type interacts with a website’s mission, examining a competitor’s approach, and determining how multiple audience types will engage with certain content. I maintain contact with my client throughout the process to ensure that the work is on track, and unless requested, I do not use any AI tools to complete the work.
