Chris B.

Hello, I'm Chris and I am a fluently bilingual Canadian. My everyday life is lived in both French and English. I am dedicated to helping my clients grow their business online and ensuring they continue to succeed. I have always had a passion for writing, and documentation has always been the cornerstone of a very successful career in IT. At the same time my work as a songwriter, vocalist/performer, engineer, and producer, demonstrate the breadth of my creative talent. Although I'm new to Upwork freelancing, I have over 25 years experience in writing and vocal performance. Here are examples of the types of work I did in both English and French: - IT Architect where I wrote and maintained technical documentation. This work included translating between English and French as my company, Atlantic Lottery, regularly shared documentation with Lotto Quebec. - Singer/songwriter/Arranger where I write and perform songs in both languages as well as provide these services to other artists. My stated hourly rate is $40, but that refers to my voice-over work. For translation services I always use my per-word-rate for translation which is $0.12 per word. Please reach out to me anytime; I am here to help you reach your corporate or personal goals with quality translation and writing services as well as voice-over and vocal performance work.
