Marije W.

I am a enthusiastic and dedicated remote professional with a strong track record of working independently. You can rely on me to manage my time effectively, meet deadlines consistently, and proactively communicate project updates without needing constant oversight. I am seeking a 100% remote role as a Travel Agency Specialist, Virtual Assistant or a new remote challenge, using my strong organization and support skills. I am ready for my next professional step after I got valuable experience as a Travel Agency. I am also open to other remote opportunities where I can use my strong organizational skills and passion for customer-focused support. Whether it is managing complex travel bookings, streamlining daily tasks, or taking on a completely new administrative or support role, I am ready to bring structure and value to your team. The last 3 years I have worked for a Dutch travel agency for railway journey’s in Europe. I book complex train journeys, ferries, and hotels across Scandinavia, the Arctic Circle, and Switzerland, creating digital travel folders and solving real-time travel disruptions. I work remotely from my home in Uganda, which is fully equipped for this purpose. In addition to a stable internet connection, my house runs entirely on solar power. This guarantees continuity in the event of power outages, ensuring I am always online and accessible to the team and clients. I am flexible and accustomed to proactively contributing to backoffice processes. Remote work requires a high degree of independence and strong communication skills; qualities that I fully possess. I have a Bachelor degree in Dutch Sign language of the University in Utrecht. In my free time I teach Ugandan Sign language and I help the deaf community.
