Patrick R.

Hello! Nice to meet you. My name is Patrick Rieper and I work as a journalist at DR (the Danish Broadcasting Corporation). I mainly work with news-journalism, and the primary outlet is radio and articles on dr.dk - one of Denmark's biggest, if not the biggest, news outlet. I am a native speaker of the Danish language and I am bilingual in English. Furthermore, I have lots of experience in translating, proofreading, voice-overs, transcriptions, writing articles and general copywriting - all in both Danish and English. Some of the larger clients for whom I've provided different services for include: - Novo Nordisk - one of the worlds biggest and most successful pharmaceutical company. - MyPOS - a global brand, who specialize in payment solutions. - Voldt - also a global brand, who specialize in charging cables for electric vehicles. Apart from these examples, I have completed many other projects of differing sizes and within varying areas - which you can view below, in the review section of my profile. The main areas that I provide services here on Upwork are: Translation from English to Danish and vice versa: I have experience with different types of translations within very different areas. I have translated numerous websites, product description, articles, advertisements, medical and legal documents and much more. I always make sure to research the terminology of the field before starting the task, so I am sure that I can deliver a great translation that lives up to your expectations and demands. Proofreading: I also do proofreading services from Danish to English and vice versa. I have completed numerous proofreading projects throughout my time on Upwork. I will gladly adapt to your needs and provide the type of proofreading you desire - whether you want the tone to be more informal or formal, correcting grammar etc. Due to the fact that I work as a journalist - it is very easy for me to make sure that everything is grammatically correct. Writing: As previously mentioned - I work as a journalist, which means that I have written a lot of articles. I have also written quite a few articles her on Upwork within different fields. This includes news-related articles, blog posts, stories and much more. I write in both Danish and English. Speaking/voice-overs: I have also done quite a bit of voice-over work here on Upwork as I have gotten lots of speak-training due to my work as a journalist on a radio station. Therefore, I am more than capable of adapting my voice-overs/speaks to whatever you may need. Personal: I am a hard worker, very disciplined and willing to put in the extra hours that some projects might take. I am always quick to respond and I always finish my projects on time, which my 100% job success badge shows. I like having long-lasting cooperations here on Upwork, so I can build a great working relationship with my clients, but I am also interested short-term projects. I look forward to hearing from you! Best regards, Patrick
