Sophie H.

I'm Sophie, a French 45 year old freelancer dedicated to her passion: Acting as a Voice-over artist and doing Translation. Living abroad since over 8 years, I decided to become a freelancer after +20 years employment in several sectors: Tourism, Sales, Insurance and in a Language company proving lessons to French executives. I have started on basic positions up to management ones, doing recruitment, translation and training as well. Apart from my studies and professional life, I used to be a theater actress and a singer during my whole life. I played at the theater as from the age of 2 or 3 years old (I was born in a family of actors) and started to sing on stage as from the age of 12. Since 2021, I am a dubbing actress in a Recording Studio called MAULLYWOOD LTD in part time. We provide French dubbing on international series and films for Canal+ International and other clients. I also worked locally in a Recording Studio specialized in story telling, working as a story teller on audio books for children. For both activities, of course, it needs acting skills as well as being able to change my voice, according to the age and personality of the character I need to dubb or play. You can hear my voice on a Youtube Channel, were I am the translator of the English scripts into French, and were I am the voice-over of all videos since +4 years now. Do not hesitate to ask for more details. I am anonymous on the channel (client wish, I just mention Sophie ast the end), but it has over 248K Followers and you'll find its name in my Portfolio sample. My goal is to be able to continue to work remotely and on several activities in part time, This is why I provide all my professional experience and my skills on Upwork, and I always give the best service my new partners can expect. I'm waiting for your proposals... Thanks a lot for your trust. Sophie
