Simon L.

I have written novels, short stories and non-fiction covering a variety of genres and research areas. My writing speed is typically 15K words a week for fiction. A short 50-60K romance novel, for example, usually takes about a month to six weeks from initial concept to completion. All my own work is 100% original and I never use AI. I am happy to work from outlines, chapter summaries or story concepts provided by clients. Every manuscript I deliver is fully proofread and edited. Genres I have experience writing for and which I enjoy include: - Romance (contemporary, paranormal, fantasy suspense, thriller, sports, comedy) - Crime (police procedural, hardboiled, cozy mystery) - Sci-fi and speculative fiction (hard science, soft science, high concept) - Fantasy (contemporary, urban, magical realism, space opera and high fantasy) - Military and espionage - Western Non-Fiction I am a native UK speaker with a PhD in philosophy and literature. I can format my text to your specification in English or US spelling. There are many examples of my published non-fiction work online. My areas of special interest include: philosophy, psychology, myth and history. Please have a look at the sample of my work provided below.
