Independently as a Multilingual Sound Designer, Re-recording Mixer & Location Recordist I've completed musical, feature documentaries, feature films, short documentaries, experimental and short films in varied genres Been awarded best sound designer from different film festivals. I was awarded the `Dolby Scholarship’ for Best Student in Sound Recording and Sound Design, by Dolby Laboratories, Inc. Also awarded as the best sound designer - nonfiction for Mahalle’s School - Family going live at the 6th Alpavirama film festival. I was selected as the only Sound Designer to represent India in the 17th Interaction Student Film Camp organised by Filmart in Serbia & worked there on two creative documentaries. Some of my projects have been recognized in festivals like IDFA 2021, UNICEF 2021, FSA 2022, IFFI 2020, DIFF 2020/21, IDSFFK 2021/22 etc. I am a Masters Signal Processing Engineer turned Filmmaker & Sound Designer. Post Graduate Diploma holder in Sound Recording and Sound Design from Film and Television Institute of India. I believe that Sound in films and any creative media is completely tied to the emotions and the extent of one’s own imagination. Human psychology and human emotions are my guides in selection, modulation and designing of sounds.
