Charlie Y.

I build automated data collection and verification systems — scraping, checking, and producing reports where every row can be traced back to its source. My most recent system searches multiple engines, verifies each result automatically, and outputs client-ready reports with a full audit trail. It runs as a local web app so non-technical staff can operate it without touching a terminal. I work in Thai and English, covering markets most international teams cannot reach directly. WHAT I BUILD • Web scraping and monitoring systems — multi-source, resumable, with rate-limit and block handling that does not fail silently • Automated reporting — scheduled runs, structured CSV/Excel output matching whatever format your team already uses • Data verification pipelines — automated first pass, human confirmation where it matters • Local web interfaces so non-technical staff can run the tools themselves • Python, Playwright, FastAPI, SQLite WHY MY WORK HOLDS UP I spent four years doing this kind of research by hand before automating it. That means I know where automated checks go wrong — pages that look dead but are not, results that look clean but were never actually searched, filters that quietly drop the things you needed. Systems I build report what they did and why. A run that finds nothing tells you whether that means "nothing there" or "something broke." BILINGUAL COVERAGE Thai and English, 20 years. Systems handling Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian sources, including the encoding problems that quietly corrupt non-Latin text in spreadsheets. I am strongest on work that needs patience, accuracy, and clean documentation.
