I started writing professionally in 2020, and I've spent the better part of the last 5 years figuring out what makes a well-articulated piece. And after years of writing, revising, and proofreading, I can say it is clarity, which is any writer’s most arduous task. Whoever says otherwise might find William Zinsser’s “On Writing Well” a worthy read. My background is in English and Communications, and I'm currently working toward an MA. I've written for projects including The Beam, a mobility solutions helmet brand, Genki Things, and Circular, across various niches that range from urban mobility and consumer tech to health and wellness. What I care most about in writing is clarity. A lot of content fails not because it's badly researched, but because it's badly explained, muddled, self-congratulatory, full of ambiguity the reader is expected to bridge on their own. My job as a journalist is to make sure this never happens. I write SEO content, long-form articles, and product-focused pieces. I'm comfortable with technically dense topics and can modulate tone across formal and conversational registers with equal ease.
