I recently started as a Neurology resident physician at the University of Arizona and completed my M.D. at Loyola University Chicago – Stritch School of Medicine. I have worked as a Postdoctoral Neurocognitive Research Fellow at UTHealth Houston, where my research has focused on neuroimaging and neurodegenerative disease. My background spans cognitive psychology, addiction neuroscience, quantitative MRI/PET imaging, and clinical pharmacology, giving me a broad and deeply interdisciplinary foundation across the biomedical sciences. Through my time on Upwork, I regularly support clients by scientifically fact-checking and validating medical and scientific content for factual accuracy, appropriate terminology, and defensible interpretation of findings. This work includes medical content validation, scientific editing, and accuracy review of white papers tied to public health and clinical advocacy, as well as research-grounded long-form writing on substance use and related biomedical topics. Across projects, I emphasize clarity, responsible framing, claim substantiation, and alignment with the underlying evidence. I have been directly involved in all major stages of research and project development, including IRB-supported study design, manuscript drafting, direct patient recruitment, systematic and comprehensive literature review, and large-scale retrospective EMR data extraction. I have served as both a primary and contributing author on PubMed-indexed publications and am highly experienced in synthesizing primary research, systematic reviews, and real-world clinical data into writing that is methodologically sound and aligned with evidence-based medicine.
