Daniele S.

Hi there! I'm Daniele, a professional archivist and genealogist affiliated with the Association of Professional Genealogists based in Milan, Italy. I've been working continuously both online and in-person since 2019. My languages high school gave me the ability to speak in four of the major European languages (namely, French, English, German and Italian) but also the historical knowledge necessary to give an appropriate context to the genealogical researches I offer. On the top of that, I am currently interning as a professional archivist, a career path I hope I'll be able to pursue even in the future. I have expertise contacting both Church and State Archives and have successfully completed many family history researches in different countries including Italy, the USA, the UK, France, Germany, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil; I have also worked as a records retriever for the collection of documentation necessary to the recognition of "Jure Sanguinis" Italian Citizenship. To me, genealogy is much more than a mere recollection of birth, marriage and death registrations: family history gives us the possibility to reconnect with our roots through documents we had thought lost, and it is the only discipline that allows us to know ourselves, while also knowing our ancestors. What are you waiting for? If you're searching for a professional Italian genealogist, I'm here for you!
