Stella B.

Hi! I'm a 27-year-old native English and Estonian speaker currently based in France. Writing, in some form or another, has been my main passion and source of living throughout my adult life. I've been a freelancer for the largest translation agency in Estonia for 7 years, working my way up from being a junior EST-ENG translator to becoming an English editor and Head of the English Junior Translation Department. Editing and proofreading texts translated into English has been my main task at this company since early 2021. Working at a translation agency has given me the chance to develop my skills in various fields and work with clients ranging from public sector institutions to small start-ups and everything in between. For nearly 2 years, I've also been working as a content writer for a marketing agency. This has allowed me to further develop my creative writing skills, and given me the opportunity to research and learn about everything from drone technology to the history of Valentine's Day. As much as my professional life has allowed me to dive into a broad variety of fields and topics, I have also developed my own diverse passion projects and hobbies. Some of my main passions include: - travel, living abroad, digital nomadism - social media and modern internet culture - swimming and anything marine-related - both physical and mental health & wellness - literature - Middle Eastern culture & history If you're looking for a writer or editor who's ready to tackle any project, research any niche topic, and catch every typo and stray comma, shoot me a message! I'm always looking for new and interesting clients to work with.
