Daniel A.

Your manuscript is finished. But before you publish, you need to know one thing: How will a real reader experience your story? I’m a professional beta reader and manuscript reviewer providing honest, detailed, and actionable reader feedback for authors who want to strengthen their books before publication. I specialize in romance, contemporary romance, fiction, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, memoir, and nonfiction. I read your manuscript from the perspective of your intended audience and tell you what is working, what isn't, and where readers may lose interest. What I Look For 🔹 Plot & Story: plot holes, inconsistencies, confusing events, weak story logic and unresolved threads. 🔹 Character Development: character motivation, consistency, relationships, character arcs and believability. 🔹 Pacing & Flow: slow sections, rushed scenes, repetitive passages and places where the story loses momentum. 🔹 Romance & Emotion: chemistry, emotional connection, romantic tension, emotional payoff and relationship development. 🔹 Reader Experience: what keeps readers turning pages, where they become confused, and what moments resonate. 🔹 Dialogue & Voice: unnatural dialogue, inconsistent voice, awkward exchanges and scenes that pull readers out of the story. 🔹 Actionable Feedback: I don't just point out problems. I explain why something isn't working and what could strengthen it. Depending on your project, I can provide inline comments, chapter-by-chapter feedback, a detailed beta reader report, manuscript review, plot analysis, character feedback, pacing analysis, and overall reader impressions. My goal is not to rewrite your book or take away your voice. My job is to give you the honest reader perspective that can be difficult to get from friends and family. Whether you're preparing a romance novel, fiction manuscript, fantasy novel, mystery, thriller, science fiction story, memoir, or nonfiction book, I'll give you thoughtful and constructive feedback designed to help you move confidently toward revision and publication. If you want more than “I liked it,” let's give your manuscript the reader test it deserves.
