I help writers, filmmakers and producers turn promising ideas and uneven drafts into scripts that work on the page and on screen. I’m a screenwriter, script editor and script development consultant with more than 20 years of professional film and television experience. My work includes feature screenplays, television pilots, shorts, rewrites, adaptations, treatments, script coverage and story development. I spent more than two decades working in the U.S. film and television industry before relocating permanently to NSW, Australia. My production background includes major studio, television and independent projects for Marvel, HBO, Sony, Amazon/MGM, Netflix, Starz and A24. That experience strongly informs the way I work with scripts. I understand how writing translates into performance, camera, schedule, location, production design and the edit, so my notes are not limited to abstract screenwriting theory. I work across screenwriting, rewrites, structural development, character and dialogue work, treatments, adaptations, script coverage, ghostwriting and collaborative writing. I’m comfortable joining a project at almost any stage, whether that means building a story from the ground up, diagnosing a draft that is not landing, or refining material that is close but needs greater clarity, momentum or emotional weight. My own work includes the award-winning short film Three Fingers, which screened at Austin, Nashville, Sidewalk, Raindance and other festivals and received multiple jury awards. My current one-hour drama pilot, MOSH, was named a Finalist in the 2026 Scriptation Showcase and a Second-Rounder at the 2026 Austin Film Festival. I don’t approach every script with the same formula. I start with what the story is trying to become, then look at character, structure, cause and effect, pacing, visual storytelling and whether the choices on the page are creating the intended experience for the audience. The goal is simple: stronger characters, clearer storytelling, better momentum and a script that feels alive on the page and ready for the screen.
