Rodrigo V.

I’m a bilingual video game journalist, scriptwriter, and voice over actor with over 16 years of experience in gaming media and communication. My background spans editorial writing, video hosting, creative scripting, public relations, and voice performance for both entertainment and commercial purposes. 🕹️ I began my career as a copy editor for a print video game magazine, and grew into roles as editor, on-camera host, and voice talent at two major gaming websites over a 12-year period. I’ve created hundreds of reviews, news articles, YouTube scripts, and voice-overs tailored to gaming audiences. 🎙️ I’ve completed three professional voice over courses and participated in castings, applying those skills in editorial videos, game trailers, and mock ads. 📣 As an account manager in a PR agency focused on gaming and tech, I’ve worked with international clients, drafted and distributed bilingual press releases, monitored media coverage, and led client meetings and interviews in English. 🧪 I also collaborate with a video game consultancy, writing professional mock reviews under NDA, helping publishers anticipate how games might be received by the specialized press. 🎓 I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences from Universidad La Salle, where I studied the basics of journalistic writing, voice and on-camera performance, graphic design, and video editing. I bring to every project a deep understanding of gaming culture, editorial precision, a creative mindset, and a clear, confident voice—both on paper and behind the mic.
