Research Assistance
I finished my MA in Global Media and Digital Communications at SOAS, University of London in September 2025, since then I have been assisting with fact verification and network analysis for research conducted by a professor at NYUAD. My research experience spans qualitative methods, network analysis, and discourse analysis, with projects ranging from Telegram’s conflict media communities to Western framing of the Iraq War and AI’s role in propaganda. Skilled in NVivo, Atlas.ti, and Python (basic), I combine methodological rigor with regional expertise and multilingual ability (English, Arabic beginner, Spanish, Mandarin). I bring experience as a research assistant, grant writer, and producer, where I’ve managed complex projects, analyzed large datasets, and synthesized findings into clear, impactful outputs. I am eager to contribute to projects involving qualitative data analysis, Middle East politics and media, and digital networks, offering a mix of academic depth, practical research skills, and adaptability across interdisciplinary contexts.
