Vadym S.

I'm a full-stack developer working across Python and Java, building everything from REST APIs and databases to React and Angular frontends. Over the past while, I've focused more and more on AI-powered products. Integrating LLMs like Google Vertex AI and Gemini into real, working applications rather than just experimenting with them. A few examples of what I've built recently: - a full sleep-tracking platform with a React frontend, FastAPI backend, and a Telegram bot all sharing the same backend, with Vertex AI generating personalized sleep insights and JWT auth, Redis caching, and CI/CD handling the rest. - I also built a RAG-based assistant that uses LangChain and Redis vector search on top of Vertex AI to answer questions from a custom knowledge base, and a couple of Telegram/Discord bots powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash - one predicts video performance, the other works as a live AI language tutor. On the more traditional side, I designed and built a microservice-based book rental platform from scratch with an Angular frontend and Spring Boot backend, and I've also worked on a FastAPI document-processing system for an Amazon-facing product, fixing bugs and adding new features to an existing codebase. Beyond that, I'm comfortable with Hibernate, pytest, JUnit, Docker, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, along with tools like Swagger, Postman, and Git. I'm quick to respond and if you're looking for someone who can handle both the backend and the AI side of a build, I'd love to hear about what you're working on.
