I build the tools teams run their work on. Python apps and Google Sheets automations that pull your data in from APIs, files and old documents, and turn it into a working system: a quote generator, a report that builds itself, an app your team logs into. One sales team's 15 to 30 minute quote job is now one click. One spreadsheet job grew into a 556 hour (and counting) app. What I've built: - Spreadsheet to full SaaS, 556 hours + here on Upwork. It started as pulling data from public sources into a spreadsheet and grew into an app: a dozen data sources that each break differently, a PostgreSQL database underneath, reports and PDFs on demand. A team of 8 has tested it over the past 6 months, and it's getting ready to launch to the public. - An email tool for a customs broker. He feeds the system lists of companies, and one double click sends each one its own email from his Gmail in daily batches, with a tracker for who was emailed and who replied. Excel and Gmail only, no subscription. - A Google Sheet that builds a list of local businesses by trade and town from Google's official Places API, with a note on where each detail came from. Queue a few searches and it runs in the background overnight. - Data normalization and parsing script. Messy data files in, clean consistent records out. Fixed price on Upwork. How I work: If you just want a ticket coded, there are cheaper people for that. I'd rather find out what's actually costing you time or money first, then build the simplest, cheapest thing that fixes it, with you in the loop the whole way. You know your business; I know how to build. The good stuff happens when both of us are involved. - Your data gets checked, not trusted. On a recent build I was working on a source table was quietly covering only half a city while the row counts looked perfectly healthy. The checks caught it before the client did. - You own it. I strongly believe in building something you own and run to cut down on subscription costs and to be honest just wasting money on your end. I can help you navigate getting whatever we build set up so it runs on your machine or cloud service and help you if something goes wrong because let's face it that is sometimes part of maintaining your own system. - You will get frequent updates on progress as well as demos so nothing sneaks up and surprises you. AI integrations, when they actually make sense. I've wired agents into plenty of builds, like a chat assistant, AI receptionist, Booking Agent for my own business. But AI is the hype right now, and I see a lot of people paying for AI where a simple script would do the job cheaper and quite honestly better. AI has its place. I'll tell you when it's worth it, and when it isn't.
