Masoud Z.

I'm a Java and Kotlin developer with 8+ years of software development experience, mainly working with Spring Boot, backend systems, and full-stack web applications. Most recently, I worked on a large accounting platform for European businesses, built as a multi-tenant monolith using Kotlin, Spring Boot, Gradle, and PostgreSQL. The platform covered double-entry accounting, invoicing, payments, payroll, inventory, e-commerce, tax reporting, bank integrations, and AI-powered document and invoice data extraction. Working on a system with this many interconnected modules required careful architectural decisions and a strong focus on maintainability. I use AI coding tools and agents extensively in my development workflow. On large projects, I use them to explore solutions, implement features across multiple modules, refactor code, generate tests, and speed up repetitive work. I know how to work with AI agents effectively while reviewing their output, validating business logic, and keeping the codebase consistent and maintainable. Beyond Kotlin and Spring Boot, I have experience with Java, Hibernate, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, and frontend integration with React and Next.js. I can help you build a backend from scratch, extend an existing SaaS platform, integrate complex business workflows, or add AI capabilities to your application. If you have a project in mind, feel free to reach out and tell me what you're building. Skills: Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, SaaS Development, Multi-Tenant Systems, AI Coding Agents, AI-Assisted Development, React, Next.js, Docker.
