Martin U.

Senior software engineer building production systems across backend, web, mobile, cloud, and AI integrations. Most recently, I built three core communication capabilities for Aion.to, an AI coordination platform: telephone audio, SMS/MMS, and Google Meet streaming, connecting these entry points through A2A to AI agents. Other production systems I have worked on include: * Parsley — California-based SaaS kitchen management platform * Order-routing system for a brokerage to link to the Thai stock exchange * The first Ripple cryptocurrency gateway in Japan My deepest expertise is in Scala/JVM backend engineering, including system architecture, APIs, concurrency, and functional programming, but I work across the full application stack when needed. I am strongest on backend-heavy systems, but I can follow a problem across the entire product stack rather than stopping at a technology boundary. I am also a certified AWS Solutions Architect Associate and Oracle Java 8 Associate Programmer and I rank Top 5% on Stack Overflow. Core stack: Scala, Java, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, Vue/Nuxt, PostgreSQL, AWS, GCP, Android, and Flutter.
