My name is Marina Garcia Marcos, a native Spanish speaker who has a degree in English Studies from Spain. Currently, I am taking up my Master's Degree in English Language and Literature in Madrid. I consider myself hardworking and efficient when it comes to translation. As a speaker of four languages and as someone with a background in linguistics, I can say that I understand the complexities of languages and how they become good media in the expression of thoughts and emotions. I have translated poems, limericks (poems with pictures), short stories, historic texts and TV plots among others during my university days. Today, I am specializing in translating English to Spanish content for some websites, as well as commercial listings in fields such as kitchen products (bakeware, cookware and kitchen tools and gadgets), home décor, fashion (women's clothing and jewelery), electronics (cellphones, videogames, computers, and cameras), crafts, books, toys, and sports memorabilia. I am also adept in the translation of English to Catalan texts. Furthermore, I spent a semester in the US as an exchange student for my undergraduate degree.
