Senior Android Engineer • Kotlin • Jetpack Compose • BLE/Wi-Fi IoT • FinTech I bring 20+ years in software and 12+ years on Android, building secure mobile-banking and connected-device apps for millions of users and tens of thousands of devices. • Modern Android stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, modular MVI, Clean Architecture • Mobile banking: key contributor to two high-traffic Chilean apps (1 M+ installs each), adding biometric auth, deep-link flows, and Compose-based UI in close collaboration with design, back-end, and security teams • IoT companion apps: delivered OTA and device-management flows for BLE/Wi-Fi products (UV sterilisers, smart locks, e-scooters) with reliable connectivity and smooth UX • Quality & testing: set up unit, instrumentation, and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso, MockK), automated static checks, and maintained +99 % crash-free sessions across releases • CI/CD & delivery: Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Firebase App Distribution from day one to keep weekly (or faster) release cadence • Remote work: 15 years thriving in distributed teams, comfortable with async communication across GMT-3 ± 3 • AI-agent workflow: AI coding agents take on a large share of implementation; I design the solution, review every change and own the result - tests, releases and communication are on me. • Mentorship & culture: share guidelines, reviews, and internal talks that keep code clean, secure, and testable
