Yi-Ting W.
Translator for English/Japanese/Mandarin
I was working for an international trading company, in my job I needed to work in Mandarin, English and Japanese. The key is that I needed to understand things correctly and make the procedure and explanation easier for no matter buyers or manufacturers. Sometimes I'm hired as part-time interpreter, to translate for the companies who's doing over-seas cases, for example, I was translating for a Japanese company who published a robot magazine in Taiwan, I had the chance to translate for them and the local companies and voice actors when they were recording for the robots' voice. I'm always interested in translating, because I enjoy the procedure of finding the most proper and correct way to transfer a language to another, thus I'm looking for a job which needs my ability. Other cases I've done recently: helping with a film team from Germany for local shooting in Taiwan, and helping a journalist from USA with interviews in Taiwan since he's not able to come over here and his interviewees are located in a few different places here.
