Du you want well written, interesting texts that get your message out there, and, on top of that, are free from grammatical errors? Your quest is over – invite me to your job right now! I am fluent in English, and with decades of experience in writing in Swedish at a high level, I know my stuff. More importantly, I know how to make your content look like it's been written by a Swede. Because it will be. I also translate from English, Danish and Norwegian to Swedish. Note... When it comes to translations, there's one thing I'd like to point out: There is a difference between translating and translating. I don't do the first :-) FIRST OF ALL, anyone can translate a text from English to their native language. Hit Google or Bing Translate, make a few corrections for good measure and readability, and Voila! You're done. Now stop and think for a second. How would an automated translation site handle the term "it's raining cats and dogs"? SECOND, think twice before hiring the cheapest translator. Remember, if his rates are $0,02 per word there is probably a reason why. There is also a reason why some writers are far more expensive than others. THIRD, make sure the translator has a genuine knowledge of the language you are targeting. You would have to have a very good reason to hire someone who is not a native in the target language. Look at me; I can translate from English, Danish or Norwegian to Swedish, and make it seem like a Swede wrote it. The other way around? Never. I'm not a native, hence I don't know or understand all the nuances of the language. Years and years of translation experience is all good. But more important is understanding of the spoken word, experience with expressions and idioms and a rich vocabulary. Can you see where I am going? If you are not a Swedish native there is no chance you can make The Perfect Translation, with or without automated translation software. You need a native Swede, and a person who thinks before he writes.
