Experienced English Educator and Translator (ES, PT, FR to English)

Skilled educational and translation professional with 12 years of ESL teaching and 11 years of Portuguese, Spanish, and French-to-English translation experience. I am a native English speaker, who is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and French, and I possess extensive experience translating from these languages to English. My previous translation work includes conducting product description translations for a Brazilian cosmetics company (PT-EN), academic translations for psychology, economics, demography, and history professors (PT-EN and ES-EN), fundraising and informational translations for a Brazilian migration-focused NGO (PT-EN), and a website translation for a French “glide-sharing” startup (FR-EN). I possess extensive ESL teaching experience, most recently as an online ESL teacher for Wall Street English Indonesia, where I have worked since October 2021. Previously, I worked for iTutorGroup, a Taiwanese-based online English school, between April 2018 and April 2022. In addition, I also worked as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, Brazil from March to November 2015. Earlier in my career, I also served as an English Teaching Assistant at Lycée Gaspard Monge, a French high school located in Savigny-sur-Orge, France, from October 2013 to May 2014. Additionally, I have worked as a private English teacher/tutor since January 2014, teaching students both online and in-person.
