Hi. Welcome to the part where I try explain how awesome I am to people I've never met. My writing experience includes a plethora of self-help content from blog posts to full e-books and online courses on topics related to motivational techniques, psychology, and health & fitness. I also have experience in the spiritual/esoteric niche, including tarot, numerology, all things angel related, and even some crystal and reiki work. Recently I have also expanded my repertoire to include more business writing, including acting as the consultant writer for The Africa List Business Barometer 2020 although I've also written and proofread other business content such as business plans and proposals in the past. My formal qualifications and strengths include a university course in creative writing as part of my English degree, and specialized Syntax as part of my General Linguistics degree. In my Philosophy degree I excelled in Phenomenology, Existentialism and Cultural Philosophy. My 5+ years experience as a freelancer has taught me to look at everything objectively. I ty my best to communicate openly with clients and really pick their brain about what they want the end result to be. But mostly I love having fun with language as a medium to share the ideas and dreams of my clients. I have a good grasp of the different styles of writing and can adapt language to suit any niche. In addition to this my wild imagination loves being entertained by just about anything, but I really enjoy metaphysics (which includes fantasy and spirituality), health and self-help related topics (the more holistic the better) and current events (anything from politics to the weather). I am a diligent professional and I do my utmost to deliver quality work on time. My proofreading and editing skills stem from my constant struggle as a semi-dyslexic perfectionist - during the first year of my studies I had to teach myself how to use all aspects of writing, from punctuation to word choice and tone, in order to transfer my wild ideas into logical, cohesive, well established arguments. This translates into a fulfilling and fun experience for the reader. Similarly, my ability to truly understand the concepts behind the writing material allows me to explain things in a simple, fun and effective way. Basically I'm summed up almost perfectly by three quotes from Albert Einstein: "If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself." "Any fool can know. The point is to understand." "Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere." If I could pick anyone, alive or dead, Einstein is definitely the person I'd have a conversation with. Although, a good story telling session with Sir Terry Pratchett is a VERY close second. I think that should give you a general idea of the type of person I am and things I'm good at.
